Dear Morgan
I have a daughter. She is 21 years old now.She had severe eczema when she was 4 years old. Your photos reminds me of my daughter's severe eczema and the way to cure. Yes,the way to "cure".
Your mom said" since 4 months old"and"When it gets really bad, it almost looks like an acid burn."
Mom's words contain several important information about your eczema.
1.Your severe eczema started when you were 4 months old.Not soon after birth.
What happened to you when you were 4 months old? move anywhere?eat something new?
2.Your mom said"When it gets really bad"
So your eczema is sometimes little bit well and sometimes bad and...

Sudden changes in the condition bring you to find a causal substance.
What make your skin worse than before?
What did you do or where did you go or ...
somebody polish a floor with wax or somebody spread pesticide or ....got new shoes?

3.Acid Burn! I think it is an important keyword.
Shape of eczema is very important to identify the reason.
My daughter's eczema was also look like acid burn.
I looked carefully my daughter's eczema every day and at last I found.
My daughter 's severe "face eczema" caused by some antihistamine drugs and anti-allergic drugs! Severe eczema of her face looks like acid burn was side effect of these drugs.
She took these drugs for several years because of asthma .At first they were OK but after several years her body was changed. They brought her light-sensitive drug eruption.
I think it is a particular case but it's a fact.
Dear Morgan and Mrs.Bishop
Eczema is not easy but please don't give up!
The time will really come.
God has special program for YOU.
I pray for You from Japan.
God be with you!
P.S.
I think about your eczema of sole.
Do you remember when you get eczema of sole for the first time?
and what do you think about the area " arch of a foot"
"first toe side"?
I think if you get some idea about them you will have the way to cure.
And how about using "Moist Wound Healing"for your sole?
